You Are NOT a Victim of Your Circumstances

Spread the love

A lot of people go through life feeling like they are powerless. They think that their circumstances are beyond their control and that they are just victims of their past. If this is you, I’m here to tell you that you are NOT a victim of your circumstances. Life is happening BY you and FOR you.

All those things that happened in the past needed to happen on some metaphysical level so you could have that experience, learn that lesson, fight that demon in order to come out the other side stronger, wiser, more courageous, more resilient.

These moments are gifts. Adversity is preparation for greatness.

YOU created it. BY YOU. FOR YOU.

Just take Radical Self Responsibility. That means taking 100% responsibility for your life – for your thoughts, your emotions, and your actions. It means recognising that YOU are the creator of your reality and that everything in your life – the good and the bad – is happening because of you.

Now, this doesn’t mean that you’re responsible for everything bad that happens to you – like loosing your job or getting sick. But it does mean that how you react to those circumstances is entirely up to you. And how you react will determine whether or not you become a victim of your circumstances or whether you use them as an opportunity for growth and transformation.

So if you’re ready to stop being a victim and start taking Radical Self Responsibility, here are three things you can do:

1. Stop Blaming Others

If something bad happens, don’t immediately start looking for someone else to blame. Yes, there may be someone else who played a role in what happened – but at the end of the day, they are not responsible for how YOU react to it. So instead of looking for someone else to blame, look within yourself and figure out what YOU need to do to create a different result.

2.Take 100% responsibility for your life

Start making decisions based on what YOU want – not on what other people want or what society says is “right.” This can be a scary proposition at first because it means stepping outside of your comfort zone – but trust me, it’s worth it!

3.Create inner confidence

Build inner confidence by doing things that scare you – things that make you feel uncomfortable or uncertain. The more times you do this, the more confidence you will have in yourself and in your ability to handle whatever life throws your way.

Taking Radical Self Responsibility can be scary but it is so worth it! When we take Radical Self Responsibility we build inner confidence, stop blaming others, and start making decisions based on what WE want!

We also become less reactive to events happening “to” us and more proactive about creating our lives deliberately!

If this resonated with you and you’re ready to make some changes in your life, I invite you to join me at my upcoming The Unshakeable Confidence workshop to help you unleash your next level of confidence.

To your success
